Modern civilization cannot exist without energy. Astana Expo 2017 runs from 10 June to 10 September 2017 – a full 93 days of pure energy in a variety of ways. The Expo gathers over 100 countries, international organizations and companies under the theme "Future Energy".
By choosing “Future Energy - Solutions for Tackling Mankind's Greatest Challenge" as the theme of Astana Expo 2017, Kazakhstan sets out an important task for all Expo participants to showcase each country’s know-how in the promotion of sustainable energy. Finland participates at the Expo with its own pavilion, carrying the theme "Sharing Pure Energy".
More than 85% of the expected 2 million visitors will be from Kazakhstan, with the remaining from countries in Central Asia and Europe, along with Russia and China.
