10.09.2017 Finland got gold award in Revelation of the Exhibition Theme

International Exhibition Bureau adjudged awards to the Expo-2107 participant countries. Finland got Gold award in Revelation of the Theme in the small Pavilion category. In the category for Pavilions under 400 m2 Finland got Gold, Singapore got Silver and Czech Republic got Bronze. In Exhibition desing for this category Poland got Gold, Slovakia Silver and Latvia Bronze.

09.09.2017 Mr. Kimmo Tiilikainen, Minister for Housing, Energy and the Environment of Finland visited Kazakstan on 6- 8th September

Minister Tiilikainen was accompanied by a business delegation representing the agricultural, water and energy sectors and bringing the best Finnish know-how on clean technologies, circular economy and sustainable management of resources. The main purpose of the visit was to promote the Finnish-Kazakh trade relations. During the visit Minister Tiilikainen participated in two seminars – Agro-technology and Clean Water - at the Finnish pavilion and give remarks in the KazEnergy Eurasian Forum and met with his local counterparts.

06.09.2017 RailGate Finland – China Express is a Fast Connection from Asia to Northern Europe

The City of Kouvola has the main railway hub in Northern Europe. It is also EU’s only TEN-T core network logistics centre in Finland. Some 10 million tons of freight is estimated to pass yearly through Kouvola. RailGate Finland is a transport corridor that offers the fastest land route from Asia to Northern Europe.

We are quite proud about the number of people who visited the Finnish Pavilion. Our goal is 200 000 visitors and we have achieved it already on the 18th August.
