Finland received Acceptance Certificate for EXPO-2017 Pavilion
On Thursday 9th March Mr. Bolatkan Sandykbayev, the General Director of “Astana EXPO-2017 Construction Directorate met with Mr. Severi Keinälä, the General Commissioner of the Finnish Section of EXPO-2017.
During the meeting, Bolatkan Sandykbayev briefed the Finnish side on preparations for the Exhibition and discussed about attraction of international participants.
Mr.Keinälä told about Finnish way to show their solutions in the sphere of pure energy in the Finnish Pavilion at the Exhibition in Astana. “So far all organizational issues of Finland’s participation in EXPO-2017 have been resolved – we have got approval for our pavilion design and the construction will be started soonest possibly”, said the commissioner of Finland national section.
After the meeting, the “Acceptance Certificate for Pavilion C1.3-5 the Republic of Finland” was signed to transfer the Finnish pavilion, the area of which is 399 sq. m. The Director of the Technical bureau Mr. Murat Shopanayev and Construction Director Aleksei Kojola were witnessing the ceremony.
Lower House of the Parliament Mazilis visited Expo premises and Mr. Keinälä had the pleasure to meet again the Speaker of the House, Mr. Nurlan Nigmatulin, who visited Finland last autumn. He had very positive memories of the visit to Finland.
