Vexve and smart energy solutions at the Finnish pavilion in Astana

At the Astana Expo 2017, Vexve is part of the Finnish Pavilion's Smart City, introducing Finland's high-level expertise in the field of clean energy technology including energy production and distribution.

For more than 50 years Vexve has provided products and valve solutions for the heating and cooling needs of cities and industry, which represent high-quality Finnish cleantech expertise. In Astana, Vexve presents typical valves used in district heating networks and demonstrates its smart energy distribution solutions for future cities.

“District heating and cooling solutions have had a place in modern and sustainable cities for a century. The development of an adaptable, efficient and intelligent energy infrastructure is central in addressing current challenges such as urbanization and environmental problems. Vexve's products and solutions are an integral part of this whole,” says Aleksandr Jarov, Director of Vexve’s St. Petersburg Service Center.


Vexve will also take part in The Finnish Energy Forum on August 15 & 16 at the Astana Expo. At this event, organized by the Finnish Energy Club, the Energy Industry and the Ministry of Employment and the Economy of Finland, Vexve will give a presentation entitled "Vexve as part of the Finnish Energy Model."

Vexve is the world's leading supplier of valve solutions for the heating and cooling needs of cities and industry. Developed for demanding applications, Vexve's valve and control products and hydraulic control solutions are used in district networks, power plants, and internal heating and cooling systems of buildings. All Vexve products are designed and manufactured in Finland. The company has about 160 employees and in 2016 its net sales were EUR 46 million.
